Jeremy Ray Smolik

Hi! I'm Jeremy. I'm an actor in Los Angeles, CA who grew up near Cedar Rapids, IA. I feel like I've met every type of person, from growing up in the midwest for the first half of my life, and living in cities for the other half.

That dual background, I feel, has helped me understand every type of person's reason for being. It helps me develop more layered characters. It's why I talk to everyone I come across in my day. Everyone deserves to be understood, to be represented, and to feel seen. So my range spans the spectrum of character types.

I'm in my 3rd year of scene study at The Beverly Hills Playhouse, where I have performed over 100 scenes, and continue to perform whenever I'm not being paid to. Prior to that I studied Meisner at Playhouse West, and various courses at UCB and The Groundlings.
